I'd get a Valeton GP-100. Effects ordering and IR loading for the win. Mooer, Nux and others have similar units as well.

I won't be going down the multi-effects hole again, but if I were going to it would definitely be something like that Mosky or Tonelab with all the controls on the front panel, no menus.

Thanks for the info. Been down the multieffect rabbit hole.

Looking for no menus or presets outside what the knobs show. Get too distracted twidling knobs.

You can run the VOX unit that way

I've got a few Mosky single pedals and they are great.
I'm just not real confident that they have a great-sounding multi, things seem to get a little trickier there. I got a Mooer Black Truck that I decided was pretty much a toy.

But hey, i could be wrong about the Mosky

There's a huge difference between the newest units and the old units you may have tried in the past. The main difference I've seen is how much better the software controlling them is now as opposed to things like Line 6 and DigiTech from 10+ years ago. The only reason I haven't bought the Valeton unit is that I've pretty much stopped traveling for work at least into 2022.

I get option paralysis. The less i think, the more i can work on practicing. I spend too long trying every sound in a box. Multiply that by a lot of boxes, it gets messy.

Ir's just too minimal. I'd go for a tuner and modulation at least. An expression pedal input would be nice if possible.
