    As the title says.

Mine was a Series 10 strat copy that was made of plywood....

The locks on the cheap Floyd would always slip letting the string just fall right out... not break just fall out.

And the pickups sounded like sewer water smells.

It did have a cool red/blue inverted lightning paint job though.

I traded a non functioning Dell desktop for it.

A Canadian Dillon SG in natural with p90s. Nothing in this world could have saved that guitar, it felt like such a piece of junk from every aspect.

One of those Teisco tulip-shaped things. It was one inch thick, couldn't be intonated or kept in tune and the PU was so microphonic you could actually talk at it and be heard through the amp.

Even so, I wish I still had it. lol

'76 Stratocaster hardtail. I could go on and on about its significant defects and shortcomings but I'm headed off to bed. It was not just the worst guitar I've ever owned, but the worst example of a Fender guitar you can imagine. Total crap, seriously.

I will be drawn and quartered for this , I had a 59' Getsch Country gentleman bass played like a bag of snot , I didnt like the feel , the sound, and I couldnt play it upside down ( south paw) I traded it for an ovation Huricane Estd 335 copy and hated that too, could not connect with it both those guitars would be worth their weight in gold now but I did not connect with either of them

You sure it was real? I mean, I know bad Fenders certainly exist.

I'll get slaughtered for this, but it was a Z Vex Fuzz Factory. Loads of fun and crazy range of tones, but utterly unreliable and fussy in actual operation. Behaves differently every time you use it, and gets out of whack when you just look at it. Massively frustrating... unless you find a tone and then never touch anything ever again. Love the sounds, freaking hate the pedal!

Hey! I had one of those in yellow!

It wasn't too awful, I gave it away to my wife's nephew to learn on.

My first amp was a Univox combo. No reverb, no nothing. The speaker buzzed like a cicada and the sucker electrocuted me. I refused an ambulance ride but it was no picnic. My sneakers were wet. That's all it took.

Worst guitar I ever owned was a 1982 Gibson Les Paul Custom in White. Looked beautiful from a distance. Upon closer inspection, the binding was sticking out above the edge of the body, like it was too wide or something - it was visibly too large for the channel it was in. And the way it played could only be described as weird; it just felt strange and I could not get pick harmonics out of it at all. A friend of mine whose dad worked for Gibson in Kalamazoo told me that if that guitar were produced at that factory it would have gone straight into the fireplace (he told me he saw his dad come home with Les Paul bodies that he threw right into the fireplace because they were not up to standards.

Interestingly, the best guitar I ever owned was a 1992 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Absolutely perfect in every way. What a difference 10 years makes.

I have had a good shock from an old amp (still have it) had a two prong plug and a polarity switch...

Well one day the cap on the polarity switch blew and i got a good dose right through my strings... lost a good set of Seth lover pickups also...
