    I agree!
    I had two of those, one with no name pickups which was really a dud, and one with American DiMarzios. Those pickups were niiiiice, but the guitar... not so much. Still have it, use it for slide so I don't have to touch that fingerboard.

    that bottom one isn't that bad. maybe a better color and organize the knobs a bit and it'd make a nice guitar. a bit garage rock looking but still viable.

    Without fanboys drinking the Beatle Juice, or sniffing the Byrds or Yes glue, Rickenbacker would be long gone. Between the skinny necks, flat fretboards, thick finish on the fingerboard, frets leveled down to almost nothing, and uncomfortable string spacing on the 12-strings, their current guitars are damn near unplayable.

    I don't know. Some of the original Surfcasters were pretty cool. Had a chance to buy one a few years back, and passed. But still, it was a nice guitar.

    A 2 pickup Tiesco Del Ray was my first guitar. I bought for 30 dollars in 1966. It was the worst guitar since creation.

    I would say, and be hated around here, that any version of an American guitar that is made cheap overseas is a travesty to the legacy of said guitar. That would be the Squires, Gibson Epiphones, Gretsch, Guild, and Mexican made Martins. Can't they just make 'em right rather then try to sell everybody something that might look similar. As for American guitars, I never understood PRS. We call em POS here in Texas.

    So, I take this from your statement;

    1. No one in the entire state of Texas likes PRS.
    2. You are the official spokesperson for said state.

    In actuality;

    3. Indeed Sir, you obviously do not understand PRS:rolleyes:
