The World Chess Championship is set for Nov. 11-30 in New York City.

World Champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway, 25, will face challenger Sergey Karjakin of Russia in a 12-game match. While the world champion is the favorite, Karjakin should prove a stern challenge for Carlsen.
