    I line up the slots in all the screw heads. Nobody has ever noticed.

    I would. It's a detail you'll see in better firearms so it's something I've learned to look for. Shows attention to detail.

    I had a friend who was an electrician in the Navy and continued doing that kind of work on the side after he got out. He replaced all the old outlets and switches in his house and lined up all the plate screws dead level. I noticed this one day and mentioned it. He was delighted that someone had finally noticed.

    Now I look at plate screws in every house I enter. Have done for over 25 years. It's a horrible curse...

    And no, I don't adjust them in my house...
