    Is is that

I work with a guy who always tells us, "The problem is is that..." and continues with his thought. I also hear it on the radio a lot.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the absolutely most infuritating & obnoxious vocal mannerism yet...one that again is exclusively female...is the irritating "vocal fry" affectation.
To me, it is extremely offensive & sounds as if the person were saying "You don't even rate a full breath of air when I speak to you" & they sound like they're running out of breath at the end of the sentence. Really LOVE to smack some of these people, & if I were a woman, I prolly woulda by now.

Another thing I find extremely irritating, & this has become trendy of late, is when companies use women with British accents to sell a product on TV...it's like they're saying "American women ain't good enough to sell our product" Pretentious as all hell, & nobody hates pretentiousness more than I...mostly why I have such disdain for relics.

    Hi again.

I was watching a pedal demo on YouTube earlier today, and the guy used the following phrase to introduce his summary: in a nutcase.

    Pax/
    Dean

Probably, not prolly, and while I agree with you on all you said I also hate precocious children talking down to us to sell a product. Children are supposed to be seen and not heard. At least that’s how it used to be.
