Kenny Rodgers was apparently into child labor. You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille.

My 7 year old heard Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You lyric as:

‘And my butt cheeks smell like you “.

It’s actually bedsheets, but I like the song better her way.

"You and me and Leslie," but he left out the part about the B3 that goes with it.

I thought it was about his motorcycle. "You picked a bad time to leave me, loose wheel..."

It’s “Revved up like a deuce” and Bruce Springsteen actually wrote the original as “cut loose like a deuce,” they both refer to the 1932 Ford Coupe aka “Deuce Coupe,’ which was a popularly hot rodded car.

Beatles, the way I always heard it:

    She's a pr!ck teaser
She took me half the way there
    She's a pr!ck teaser
She took me half the way there, now
    She was a day tripper

Can *anyone* understand all the lyrics to "sunglasses at night" as sung?

When I was a kid I thought "Heard it in a love song" by The Marshall Tucker band was "Purdy little love song". I also thought "Jungle love" By The Steve Miller band was " Chug-a-lug"

And speaking of chairs, "I am I said" it sounds like Neil is singing " No one heard not even the chair".

Yes, I knew. An unusually bad lyric from a usually good lyricist.

Here’s one that just smacked me!
    Holiday ROAD, by Lindsay Buckingham.
Ever since I first heard it on National Lampoon’s Vacation series, I thought the title was Holiday Roll.
    Doh!
    Wrong, for 36 years!
