Yeah, the replacement music is pretty distracting, and I'd be very surprised if anyone thinks it would be worth the money to try and negotiate the original licenses today.

Same thing happened with Crime Story, which is also a shame. And music licensing issues are likely to keep the Chris Isaak show sadly unavailable too.

Now it's mostly talk opinion (and you know what they say about opinions), religious, AOM/"Classic Rock", and smattering of genre specific stations.

Great show. I missed it in it's original incarnation, but saw it a few years ago when MeTV was running it before. And yes, Bailey Quarters!

    Yes, that's Jan Smithers, pre-WKRP

Scum- "First of all, punk rockers dress deplorably, and secondly, they don't physically attack their audiences." Dell- "I'm not paying for this!"

Loved that show when it was one originally!

I was just a young'un so a lot of the jokes went right by me.

Caught it on reruns later, and there was some very pushing the boundaries of humor that they managed to slip by the censors.

One scene Johnny thought he had the flu. Someone else was checking him out, had pulled his lower eye lids down and had him look up. Asked "How are your joints?"

Johnny's eyes snapped down and glared at him.

And Lonnie Anderson was the bomb!!
