I'll bet anyone a dolla that if I show that to my kids, they'll be all "Duh, dad. There's this huge group of elitist witches who are constantly talking trash about all the noobs online. Nobody likes them. I can't believe you've never heard of them."

At some point, you can no longer blame your parents for your poor life choices.

I find those elitist witches really annoying, trying to tell me that I'm using bat wings and eye of newt improperly in my spells!

I'm really intrigued now! I want to know what this young woman sells and what kind of a living she makes doing it.

What accent is that? Sounds like a mix of British/Elmer Fudd.

To me it sounds like British with a dash of Scottish. She says that she's in the UK. She mentioned Glastonbury, which is west of London.

I’ve been saying this for a while and EVERYONE (for the most part) applies, it’s called PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!

    Okay deep breaths.....

witchcraft has really blown up in the last five years or so, and there are a lot more people making internet content about it, some of it, let's put it politely, is very "excitable".

like a bunch of younger witches on tiktok deciding to hex the moon. which, to make a sloppy metaphor, is kinda the equivalent of someone here suggesting we all drive out to fender headquarters and burn the place down.

i have some occult/esoteric interests and none of these people bother me, but i can see how someone who's been invested in this stuff for a long time could find it extremely irritating.

Wouldn’t you sort of be able to tell the elite witches from the rank and file witches?

I mean, if I was standing outside on a moonlit night and some lady flew past astride a broom, I’m pretty sure that I’d leap to the conclusion that I had just seen an elite witch.
