Just take a little off the middle, please.
I not knowing any better borrow some stanely shure forms and shaved and sanded a tummy cut and a strat like top cut and sculpted the lower cut away on the humble music master.
I'm not a master craftsman and I don't play one on tv. But it was really easy with that soft wood that worked well
If you have a rock/hard maple body take the body to a machine shop
nope, not me, no way. tools to fit the body, not the other way around.
Wish all my belly's had a guitar cut!
Wishing you a full, speedy recovery! I like the contours on my Strats, but don't like it on my Tele. I have a MIA with the cut and MIM BSB without, and like the looks of the MIM much better. The contour body feels better, but not enough to sacrifice the looks, in my opinion anyway.
Best wishes for a quick recovery...
I ran across an Aerodyne stratocaster a couple of years ago and it's the ultimate in comfort guitars for me! Belly cut, quasi-carved top, light as a feather. It's now my #1-my custom ordered G&L lives in the case. Best thing was, it was $100.00 from a pawn shop! If I ever run across an Aerodyne Tele it'll be hard not to buy it.
