I'm about to wire up a Tele using a TV Jones Classic in the neck and a Cavalier Nocaster single coil in the bridge. Using 500K pots to play nicely with the TV Jones. I understand I can use a resistor so, when the bridge pickup is selected, it sees 250K or near enough to. I've done some digging and came across such a wiring scheme in another thread here.

It has been suggested to me that using the resistor in this way might result in a loss of volume/output on the bridge pickup. Has anyone used this wiring and found that's the case?

Just a very tiny bit, mostly in the treble. (as intended)
