Hey all, I’m in desperate need of a wiring diagram for a tele I’m building for a band mate. It will have 2 push/pull volumes and a 3 way switch. I’m installing a set of Seymour Duncan quarter pounders with coil tap, hence the push/pull. Any help would be very appreciated:) thanks in advance.

Try Seymour Duncan's website. There are diagrams available for about any setup!

I'm thinkin' you should say what you want these p/p's to do ??

Single coil them (split, not tapping) I'm assuming ?

Well, some QPs can actually be tapped, and since they are single coils, they can't be split, so this is one instance that 'tap' is correct. I am guessing both pickups have a tap? You would use a diagram like this, but only use 3 lugs on each push/pull (one set of 3 for each pickup).

Mincer, thanks for the link. I have previously searched the SD web site and found that diagram. It’s close, but I’m looking for 2 volumes and the ability to say tap the neck for clean chording and be able to switch to the bridge on full output and melt faces;) I’m very much a novice as far as wiring goes but I think I have an idea from that one diagram, but it sure would be nice to have an exact diagram. Thank you again mincer. If anyone could draw it out and post it here, I would be very grateful. Thanks again in advance.

Hook up the full leads to the 3 way in the normal manner. Also connect them to the center lugs of the potswitchs w a wire. Connect the taps to either the up or down lugs depending on how you want them to work.ie whether up or down is tapped.
