If the earth is flat, go to the edge and take a picture. How hard could it be?

If the earth was flat cats would have already knocked everything off the edge.

Did this dude find out he's terminal, and this is his way of *not committing suicide* (wink wink) so his wife can collect on his life insurance policy?

I'm really disappointed you'd use that association here. There is satire and there are stupid people. Neither one of these are "fake news"...

It's a crying shame that I can only click the like button once on this one.

I always try to respect other's beliefs, but lets admit it, if we don't agree with them they are probably crazy.

    Seriously?

To me the term "fake news" refers to anything associated the attempt to skew the truth and is something that has been going on since humans have existed.

If you choose to apply this phrase solely to today's political climate (or whatever you're disappointment is so ardently focused on) then that is your prerogative, but I for one do not believe for one second that such a trend has only started occurring since that particular phrase was first coined by you know who...

In the past we would have used the term "propaganda", but, let's be real; "fake news" means the same thing...

And if you must know: I do NOT embrace the philosophy of anyone or anything the way I think you think I do... does that makes sense?

Anyway, I was just stealing the phrase for a cheap laugh...

Wackos like this were kind of amusing back in the 70s. At this point they're just tedious. It used to take some effort to be that stupid. Now, anybody can do it.

Unfortunately, Wackos like this get far too much exposure on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, and there are far too many people that believe all these nut job conspiracy theories. Have you all seen how many flat earth and other stupid conspiracy videos there are on YouTube with their pseudoscience proving their wacko ideas.
I think it says something about the decreasing levels of education and intelligence in our country for these things to be so much more pervasive than they used to be. People used to get their information from books, newspapers, and other reputable sources (like scientists and doctors) rather than their "friends" on Facebook.
