Will a Soapbar fit a space routed for a Dogear pup?

The subject just says it all. I'd like to replace a dogear pup with a standard soapbar P90 is the routed cavity the same for both of these?

It seems the Duncan soapbar is has the same dimensions as the dogear in terms of plate length and width, and pickup length and width...the ears not included.

The bobbins are the same size, so you are probably ok, but no guarantees. I am working on a guitar now that will get a dogear, so I am just assuming that my soapbar template will work with it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm wondering if I can place a soap bar P90 in a guitar that was routed for a Dog ear. They look pretty close.
