Wilkinson VS-100 on Player Strat?

    I've got a Player Series Strat and a Wilkinson VS-100 laying around and was thinking of mating them up. It seems to be pretty doable to mount the Wilkinson onto the factory studs, but wasn't sure if this was bueno or not. Does anybody have any experience with this? I've tried to find specifics on the studs from Fender documentation and cant find a lot from the repair sheets. Should I go ahead and do it or fool with pulling and replacing the plugs and studs?
