Wilde Micro-coil Blue Wire

    I just bought a set of Wilde Micro-coil Alnicos for Strat. Each pickup has three wires. Neck: white, blue and black. Middle: green, blue and black. Bridge: red, blue and black. Does the blue wire on each one go to ground with the black wire?

    Haven't owned microcoils, but blue and black go to ground together on some of their other models

    White is hot (+) and the others are ground (-).

    If you have any series wiring to do leave the blue as a ground and use the black as the pickup negative.

    the blue is to the Wilde pickups exactly as the yellow is to the 3 wire pickups.. it isolates the pickup cover from the neutral, black. wire... it's used in the 4 way circuits most commonly,, or other unique wiring.. If doing a conventional 3 way both the blue and the black are soldered to a ground point..
