I’ve known about these guys for a long time. Nels Cline is a legend amongst jazzmaster players. But, me and my boys are watching this concert on YouTube and it’s super great. The musicianship and composition are fantastic.

Also, I found this gem which is a different ball of wax altogether.

history will tell, but as far as songwriters go, i think he's a great one, very significant to our times.

I just saw him solo in Austin. Such a great show. My wife doesn’t really know Wilco or Jeff and thought it was great.

I saw Wilco when they came around and that was pretty awesome too. (Wife couldn’t make that one)

Been a huge Jeff Tweedy fan since the old Uncle Tupelo days. Maybe it's because I'm roughly the same age as Tweedy and grew up in the same kind of small suburban Midwest towns, but his songs just speak to me on a personal level. This song may have well been about my teenage years:

I'll just add that Tweedy's recent memoir "Let's Go (So We Can Get Back)" is a great read -- equal parts insightful, humorous, and heartbreaking.

I've had the pleasure of seeing them a few times. I've been smitten since way back in the 90's, my dad came home with "Being There". I was trying to hide the fact that I had come home feeling a bit north of "tipsy". As it opened with Misunderstood, my brain melted.
