I used to kill time looking at the "textsfromlastnight" website for the lolz.

One that sticks in my mind was something like:
"We were too loud last night"
    "Why do you say that?"
"The neighbors changed thier wifi network name to 'weCanHearYouHavingSxx'"

I think my wifi network was briefly called "dontStealOurParkingSpaces" when we lived ina townhouse with assigned spots and annoying neighbors. Figures, the cool college kid was across the way, but the ones with annoying friends were next door......

I use "Comcast Monitoring System". I doubt many of my neighbors have tried to hack into it.

I saw a "COVID5G" in an airport recently.

My favorite was when my son set ours up.

"Jointhedarkside" and the password was "POWER!" in all caps

"OH GOD THE BLOOD" was a fave of mine (spotted in Tenleytown DC)

I just hide the SSIDs any more.

I used to ride an elevated, s-l-o-w electric train between hospitals and would look at SSIDs with my phone as we traveled. There was a cluster of student-occupied houses and one of the hilarious SSIDs would get ***********ed if I posted it here.

In my neighborhood, I see either default names, or the family's name. Both are bad ideas in my book.

    Those were clever.

    .

I changed ISPs recently and needed to set up a new one. I went with an innocuous random one. Hide the needle in the pile of straw.
The lists of funny WIFI names are easy to find.

One of my friends used "JackSparrow" for a while, more for the pirate reference than their love of the movies.

"Honeypot" with some random number is a good one.
Hackers will set up a DMZ with an open-wifi honeypot at airports/etc and then eavesdrop traffic to skim data or hackers will set one up to catch other hackers.

Just make sure you put a password on your wifi. Extended family members left theirs open several years ago (basically the default unless you changed it) and they noticed this car parked down the street for several weeks with someone in it. Then one day the FBI burst into the house next door while one of the agents knocked on their door and suggested they put a password on their open router. Apparently whatever the neighbors were doing was through their wifi service.
