Why Won't Fender Sell Heads??

    Aren't they (or the SF version) still out there second hand at reasonable prices?

    That is just one of the hundred reasons they're not going to reissue them! But couldn't the same thing be said about all their reissue amps to some degree?

    I bought my AB 165 Bassman for $100 dollars 20 years ago. That's reasonable!

    I have a 1979 Fender Bassman 70 head. In the shop right now to have the eyelet board replaced (not insulating well). It’s around $150 for the work, parts included. I did a trade for that head but I value it at around $400. It’ll probably be worth something like $700 or $800 when complete.
