tuna > egg salad
It has to be said.
It's not special unless it's on toasted bread, with butter.
GOOD tuna salad=GOOD egg salad......how can you choose between perfection or perfection?
Comfort food. Mmmmmmm.
I know from mathematics that infinite sets can have different cardinalities.
No offense, but why should anyone care what Leo Fender ate for breakfast? Seems weird. Plus you're missing a few ingredients there.
Presumably a few vegetarians visiting the UK have been similarly thrown with the Scotch Egg.
But....on WHICH SIDE OF THE ROAD do you 'properly' eat it?
I have a similar story from an Indian vegetarian friend who thought that a "cheeseburger" would be vegetarian.
Mammals might know better, but Cockroaches don't care what stuff is. They'll eat anything. Including the label and the adhesive and the container itself.
There was a place in the suburbs of Buffalo and they had a "Triple Cheeseburger". Which was way the most expensive thing on the menu and consisted of 3 thin pieces of American cheese-food and one patty that if anything was thinner than their usual burger patty. Only a fool or a show off ordered it more than once. It was closer to vegetarian than some soups I've been served (oh, there's no meat in here!).
Or finely chopped Olive but not both pickle and olive.
The white bread had to be decent. Pepperidge Farm is a solid choice; toasted of course. Code # 14100 07114. 65 Calories per slice.
Yes. If the tuna is really good, the tuna wins. Except for when you're simply in the mood for the Egg Salad then it always wins.
Tuna salad can easily be worse if the tuna is just average. Lots of average tuna out there these days.
Both, together - known as duck hunting sandwiches in these parts.
I've been enjoying this lately:
CAVIAR EGG SALAD - makes enough for 2 people to have 2 meals
6 HB eggs
5 Finely Chopped scallions
2 TBSP finely chopped black olives
1/2 cup creme fraiche
1 TBSP prepared dijon mustard
1 TBSP Mayonaise
Salt & Pepper to taste
Spread on lightly toasted and buttered Dave’s Ultimate White Bread
Awesome as is, but if you want to make it a very special treat - top with caviar!
You ... monster!
Wait--I can answer this!
Because it's the neutron bomb of lunch options, when you want room on the bus on the ride home, right? Ya wanna be ready for that sketchy stop in front of the old Arcade building, and all that.
What do I win?!
My mom always made tuna salad with eggs. About three hard boiled eggs per can of tuna. So it's some kind of tuna-egg mutant salad.
I still make it this way. With mayo, dab of mustard, celery seed.
Your mom must be a much better cook than I.
I've tried to make this "work" but I haven't succeeded yet.
If you're going to make a hybrid, I prefer egg salad + chicken salad = mother and child reunion.
