    Who’s saying 1+1 aren’t 2? I mean other than The Who.

Well that's a fair enough assertion if you're in the normal kids segment.

But where institutional education attempts to force every individual to conform to some majority rulers standard, like cans of soup on an assembly line, that is when the system breaks down.

Kids that learn slower and kids that learn faster are often punished by a system that has no room for outliers.
    Why is that?
Because it's really important for Western civilization to maintain an army of automatons?
More like because it's cheaper to run factory style public education and simply discard unique individuals as defects.

We of the musician community have presumably more of an understanding of the unique individual having more value in society, rather than being the defective product slated for the trash heap.
Public/ institutional education often only has one option besides conformity:
Brand the child trouble maker due to less intelligence, more intelligence, ADD/ADHD, abuse at home, bullying in school, or any other individual feature deemed abnormal.

No, it’s based upon the number system you choose. 1+1=2 in base 10, not so much in some others. In binary, 1+1=10. That’s not pronounced “ten”.

I recommend that most people stick with base 10 so they don’t get freaked out by numbers that don’t match how many fingers they have. So much less anxiety.

When this album sold an astounding 12 million copies I knew we were doomed.

Topping the charts in nation after nation; selling multi-millions world-wide; people all over the globe not realizing that "I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride" is idiotic third grade level stupidity....yes, we are doomed.

But I don't want to be a nihilist. There is hope. "Slippery When Wet" only reached #64 on the Greek charts. The Greeks were the founders of modern civilization so their shunning of Bon Jovi is a good sign for the future of humanity.

I had to go back and edit that in, though. I typed “neither/or” the first time.

Yes, the logical Greeks realized that "It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not" is completely illogical.

I heard a person who believes that the world is essentially a pancake, claim that 5 divided by 0 is 5.

The fact that people like this have a following is scary.

There's no reason this can't be filled out without using a calculator.
