No issues here, it's by far my favorite fast food chicken place, but do not have one anywhere near where I live.

I can't explain it, but IMO, there is a 'bad greasy taste imprint' on everything I've ever eaten at Panda Express
    - whether it's the vegetables, sauces, meats - everything seems to have the same greasy+fake Chinese flavor that just neutralizes or dominates the actual food you are eating.

I feel the same way about Golden Corral ( for those whom are familiar),
Things in the shape of food, that is really not food.

It's like " What the hell am I eating?!"

It's weird because I don't feel like that about the fast- food burger joints. You KNOW what they make & there's at least something I'll eat/like at these...

It's been over 10-15 years now since we went to a Golden Corral
( and it's only 1/2 mile away from our home, since we moved to an apartment)
And I should note that I'm 6'5" and more than overweight- always a struggle...but I've never eaten like this

But the last time we were at a Golden Corral, I felt like we were at a pig trough
    - just hundreds of fat folks, all ages, eating insane amounts of food ( 'all-you-can-eat'), 2-3 full plates at a time from the buffet, dessert bar, Pizza, fried foods, fake Chinese, mac & cheese, breakfast food...
It was just embarrassing to be there. gluttony.

KFC does the same thing to me. I think it’s the mashed potatoes. They taste good, but definitely hurt my stomach

Please bring back the Cajun Rice!

you ever eat japanese tempura? doesn't matter whether it's home cooked or big chain...you will totally feel like puking if you eat too much of it too fast.

it's not a quality thing, it's just an oil/fried batter thing. maybe you are more sensitive than others.

I don’t know. I think that Spicy Chicken sandwich is really good. Best around of its fast food type.

I have a similar reaction to heavy cream, and they sometimes put it in mashed potatoes. I don't get mashed potatoes out in public anymore, only at home when I make them.

I figured my issue out because I was getting sick every time I had a Carl's Jr. milkshake.

Last time I ate at Popeye's, I ended up in the ER. I thought I was having a heart attack. Just before they did an exploratory heart-cath, the doctor pulled the plug and decided it was gastro related. They took me in for a gastroscope, found nothing. The specialist said I probably had an "esophageal spasm", which feels like a heart attack.

It went away after a few hours of intense chest pain that nothing the ER gave me would ameliorate. They discovered I'm allergic to Morphine (nearly died on the table). They gave me some kind of serious numbing potion...numbed everything from my teeth to my gut...chest still hurt like hell.

Miz Diane concluded that I could no longer eat at Popeye's. I haven't been back since (about 15 yrs).

You've got to build up your tolerance level. I started out with White Castle sliders and Popeye chicken doesn't even phase me, it's quite.good IMO.
