I went to one a couple towns over. Line-up out the door, everybody depressed and overly-eager to get their chicken.
About 5 customers in my take-out visit started eating on their way to their cars.
Unique vibe, could be the locality, but I hope it's the food hehe I felt like I had ate much more than I did.

Got a 2pc. The chicken was the greasiest meat I have ever ate, just dripping from the inside. I've had butter-basted turkey once, but this seemed like multiple-times that in chicken fat. Tastes great for the first half of one piece. Service was nice, but I got ancient onion rings, perhaps mercifully. Sorry for the negative review, but that place isn't for me, and I'm an eating machine. I can enjoy olive garden:oops: I had kfc a week after and loved it. YMMV

My boss calls it "Pie Pie's". Every time I hear that, I think "what are you, four years old?"

This morning the CBO came by my office and asked me to explain 'how exactly does payroll work?'

Internally, I had the exact same reaction. Externally, I smiled, texted his finance director and asked her to text him to come over to review something important.

In a second, he looked at his phone and said, 'I've had something come up, I'll come back later.'

I texted her his question, her response, 'no way omg, I got it'

This is the world. We just live in it. I'm going to get a haircut.

Not necessarily bacteria, or too much fat and grease, it could just be whatever that crap is processed in... there's a lot of preservatives and flavorings and just chemicals in general added to that stuff.
It may be you're sensitive to one of those... brown bag it bro.

    Popeye’s doesn’t treat me well.
I haven’t eaten anything from them in 15 years or more.
Washing the grease off my hands and I’m already scoping out bathrooms.
I’m not sure how many feet of digestive track one has from the back of the tongue to the back of your britches, but you could work out how many feet per second that stuff moves through a humans body.
    It’s pretty quick.

I'd like to try popeyes chicken. The closest one is about two hours away. I'm generally not a fan of some spicy variants. From some comments I've read, perhaps I shouldn't be in a hurry, thank you.

the food industry is a tricky business. they find ways what's best, in their interest. My biggest peeve is the extreme temperatures of the oil. Tough enough braking down 350..400. But when your cooking 6 or 7 hundred degree's to keep the down time, for cleaning equipment, hood to the roof...how's the body supposed to break down that temp...I prepare my sustenance at home..cheer's
