If one in 80 guitarists was worth listening to, that would be pretty remarkable in itself.

But I'd be surprised if he was booked for 40 hours per week. I've never heard of a guitar teacher that busy.
It’s been my experience that if you add up all the things famous people did on their way up, they apparently had between 48 and 72 hours in each day, unlike the 24 we mortals are limited to.

I was Randy's student.

He taught me how to melt faces with mind-blowing ideas, technique, and secret hair product, and my band would've ruled the world for decades if it weren't for Kurt Cobain and you meddling grunge kids!

I play with a guy who had lessons with Joe Satriani for years. We call him the human jukebox, he can play almost any classic rock song on demand.
