They are trying to be exotic and spark some carpet-drapes intrigue, although, come to think of it, that is a moot point these days

My daughter is a 22 year old professional hair-dresser who has had her hair every possible color (and most of them looked GREAT!).

I asked her how come I see tons of women with Greenish Blue horrendous Walmart looking hairdo's. Mostly teenagers and homeless people. She said they are all failed hair dye's (1,000's of them)... and they're just too lazy to care about how they look.

I thought maybe it was a Male-Hating feminist statement that beauty is OVER. Nope, just laziness.

Young men do it too but the OP only looks at the young women?

Maybe the boys don't do it in the UK?

Boys don't do it as often because of jobs, where women can sometimes get away with more fashion stuff. Doesn't apply to all jobs.

Also, I've noticed many more males have problems with other males wearing certain things, up to the point of physical altercations.

Not that some men won't scream out rude things to women about their hair color as well.

When you're in your '80s/ '90s you may find them more interesting!
Assuming it indicates they are "interested".

My Mother had green hair and purple hair in the 1940s.
One of the Wee Gee books has a pic of her in a NYC nightclub.
Hip and cool was a thing back then, and notably there were looks that many individuals displayed, as if they all wanted to look similarly hip, rather than invent their own version of hip.

One might ask why men tend to wear those three piece suits?
One might really wonder why so many man walk around wearing coats in summer?
Looks pretty uncomfortable on a NYC street when the temp is up around 100 and all those men are dressed in the same coat!

Nobody seems to question that though?

October being breast cancer awareness month is the same reason I would wear a pink shirt in October. Both my wife and Mother had it. The surgery to treat it with my Mother indirectly led to her death. The

Why would any man (or anyone) feel obligated and qualified to comment on and speculate about this?

If it’s pink, the breast cancer awareness stuff this month is likely it.

Farms here are wrapping hay bales in pink.

Why? Because they want to, they can, and it's no skin off anyone else's back. The end.

IMO, the fashion choices that most men make are much, much, much, much worse than some unnatural hair color. Women have a lot more to wonder and complain about regarding us than we do about them.

I've been told that it's done here in Florida to help control the Burmese python population and sterilize skunk apes.

    This...

And what is it with young women dying their hair grey these days?

I was standing behind a grey haired women thinking "Wow, that old woman is tight" then she turned around and she was probably only mid twenties.
