Why cap from HT fuse to ground in Ceriatone Plexi?

    Looks like a death cap, to me. I'm guessing it's attempting to recreate a vintage circuit very closely, even the bad part(s).

    The original goal was RF filtering (not power filtering).

    Basically the same idea as a death cap, but if you use a modern class y capacitor it is safe (which is probably what they use). The fender Edge deluxe uses a class x cap across the PT primary for a similar purpose. Class x is for hot to neutral connections, class y for hot to ground. Neither is really necessary and you can just omit it if you want to.
