No idea what you are talking about! :)

Every time I see a Gibson SG bass, a rickenbacker 4003, a P Bass or a Jazz Bass with a rosewood fretboard and chips in the paint.....

I want to rumble and thump and growl!!!!

Bass gets the ladies going! <3

Then, um... make 'em pretty. Here is what I did out of a dead boring Bronco (shortscale and all...): the Bronconita. Or Cabronco.

Here's one of my many lefty "un-pretty" basses. Hideous really.

I am currently building a Mike Dirnt P-Bass partscaster. It's not short scale but I DO like the headstock. Here's what it will look like:

I bought a Chinese-made Squier Affinity P-bass at a pawnshop as my learner bass several years ago, partly because I felt sorry for it, with its chipped white paint, missing knobs, etc. $50.

Got it home and out of the awful fluorescent pawnshop lighting and realized that I loved the chipped and discolored white finish, which is just mismatched enough from the white pickguard to look like it's been rocked hard in smoky bars for about 40 years.

I can't stop looking at the thing! I love how it looks! The black-anodized knurled tele knobs in I found in my parts box look good on it too. Now if I could just get my bass chops to match its looks...

Nice bass. And not only lefty, but upside-downey!

I don't care what Tal Wilkenfeld is playing... whatever it is, it's sexy.

This design might help test the waters in the bass business:

I think this one is pretty. It was recently reunited with it's original owner. Jack's Yggdrasil Bass 1.jpg Jack Casady Guild Bass.jpg

I was drooling over the bass, then to find out it's Jack's? Way cool.
