My favorite listen is Grant Green. I expecially dig how he could take soul and R&B songs and transform them into his own thing.
@burtf51 Cal Collins isn't one of my favorites, but he was damned good. The only time I heard his music, or heard of him, was once in the 70s when he played a local gig. He did a duo with a good player who was mainly a folk guitarist, so it was interesting to hear the two styles woven together sympathetically.
I had no idea I'd enter into this fun 'favorite' exercise and end up using the ignore feature for someone willfully increasing the noise in our signal to noise ratio, here.
