Oh shucks you must mean me!

Seriously though I have no clue, I do like Marcus king and kingfish but who knows how far they can go sometimes these people that you think are great just end up fading away

Jack Gardiner, Mark Lettieri (35 though), Chris Buck are a few I see getting notice lately.

I tend to listen to fusion though...

These youngsters seem to be versatile, media-savvy, good at singing, with great guitar chops. The first three are nearing 30, and more likely known to TDPRI members, so I link only to Sonny, picking with his mom and dad and a couple of members of the Time Jumpers.

    Molly Tuttle
    Helen Ibe
    Josh Turner
    Sonny French

Jack Barksdale will be a force to be reckoned with very soon...he’s already kicking some serious tail, and I don’t think he’s thirteen years old yet.

To me, being able to sing well and good guitar player is more important than JUST being a great guitar player.

So for me, it has to be Marcus King.

He's a great singer and great guitar player.

Billy Strings came to mind- I play some bluegrass (casual group), and I think it was in that context I first caught a video of his playing.
But it seems he can play anything!

Talented guy. Have no idea of his age

Played at a venue where Ty Segall played the next day. Had nothing to do the entire night and caught this guy by surprise. The internet says 33 years old but he looks like a 20 year old to me. Anyway, great psych and garage stuff. I love it.

    Billy Strings is amazing.
One of my bluegrass jamming buddies swears he isn’t human.
    The boy has skill.

Sierra Hull is also an incredibly talented musician. She plays mandolin primarily but I’ve seen videos of her playing guitar as well. If you are not familiar with her, you owe it to yourself to watch a few of her videos on YouTube. Amazingly talented young lady.

For folks who dig stuff a bit more experimental Geordie Greep of Black Midi, and really the entire band, is doing extraordinary work and they're all around 21 or so. Their new track is sort of Zappa meets Primus. They eschew solos, but you can tell from some of the more complicated rhythm and timing that they're real players. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm super excited for their new album coming out in May.
