Who's put 500k pots in their Classic VIbe 60 teles and liked the result?

I have a new one...2022 purchased in December. No issues...just wanting to tinker. That said, also thinking of ditching the tone as I always leave it on 10 and just have two volumes. I actually don't mess with the volumes either...so maybe the switch straight to the jack! But the middle position with separate volumes would actually probably be useful.
I actually like the pickups and everything else about the guitar. It's got the little brown cap, whatever value that is.

I put a 500k vol in my (I think) mid-aughts Squier Standard Tele, but I ususally roll in some tone control. I have 2 vol/no tone on my Squier Super Sonic with two single coils and I like that too.

I have a modded CV 50’s and it has two volume controls. It took a bit to get used to it, but I like it a lot now.

I can’t imagine leaving the volumes on 10 all nite much less the tone. Whatever works I guess.

100% for recording. Not a gigging guitar. And yes.... on the rare occasion, I'll use those controls, but I'd rather process the sound outside of my guitar, vs relying on a $6 pot to roll of my high end. Pretty much the same with the volume too.
Yes...playing out with this guitar, the flexibility is wanted but that's not this guitars purpose. I agree with you 100%. We're on the same page there.
BTW...the guitar may be plugged in ALL DAY as well! thx for your input!
