Bonus points for explanations or family photos!
I have 5 amps.
I have 12 instruments.
I don’t keep count but I think I have around 15 plus or minus guitars, amps I only have 5 or 6, I have more pedals than guitars and amps put together
I would put a family photo but I’m tired and am gonna hit the sack before too long would probably take me an hour to get them all out and back in there cases
I guess if we’re just showing by themselves I can post a few
Uh oh my photos just disappeared (okay got a couple to load)
I'm Guitarded and have a problem,,, I'm joining Gear Anonymous Soon
@11 votes and not one of us was smart enough to buy 1 tele and one of EVERY AMP. Guess we'll see if the forward thinking folks are around.......
The entire heard. I now keep the Strat on the right and the Tele on the left. Acoustic stays in its case. I guess I have half as many amps as I do guitars, but the amp has 100 voices, so maybe I have more (virtual) amps?
Explanation? I'm not taking photos all afternoon. That's after I drag all the stuff out in the open!
8 guitars & 2 amps.
I’ve only got 2 amps and I only use one (my Vox AC15C1).
I have 4 electric six-strings, 3 acoustics (6-, 12- and nylon-string), a bass, a cigar-box guitar and a lap steel. So guitars win very easily.
Here’s most of the herd on the rack:
More guitars than amps, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a lot of amps.
4:1 ratio guitars to amps. That's all I'm saying.
12 electric guitars
4 acoustic guitars
2 bass guitars
Odd thing: I enjoyed playing guitar more when I had just three guitars and two amps.
Now I am always searching for tones and sounds. If I play a Beatle song I have to play it on the same gear they used. Has to sound like that Beatles song. Back when I had just three guitars I simply played the song.
Here's some of my Beatle guitars. I don't play "Can't Buy Me Love" on my Stratocaster and Ovation. When the Strat and Ovation was all I had, I did. And I had fun doing it.
Guitarded, a new word is add to the lexicon of guitar related disorders....and I like it.
At my high water mark it was 5 electrics, one acoustic and 4 amps. Now it's just an electric, an acoustic and an amp. I loved having lots of gear but I got it out of my system. I have exactly what I need.
I have 11 guitars and 12 amps.
So I guess I need to get one more guitar?
6 electric guitars
2 acoustic guitars
1 bass guitar
6 acoustic guitars
8 electric guitars
1 bass guitar
1 Irish bouzouki
1 octave mandolin
2 lap steel guitars
I know forgot something or another
Here are most of my amps. The guitars are everywhere, like rats.
