Who's got a Squier Paranormal Baritone Cabronita? And what do you think of it?

I have a Squier Paranormal Cabronita Thinline, which is basically the same guitar with the exception of being a semi-hollow. It has the same pickups, switch, and pots. The fret board is maple, so this could have some effect on the tone.
Personally, I love it! I own four Telecasters and it has become my first grab. With a little tone tweaking I can get a nice jazzbox sound going.
One downside is that the Jazz Master pups are just big single coils, so there is the normal noise issues, but it is not too bad.
Hope this helps.

I don't have the Cabronita, but I have the Custom Telecaster Baritone. I think it's safe to say they both have the same neck. I thought the 27" scale might be a problem, but it's not. With .14 gauge strings I can still bend the G string up for those twangy double stop bends.

I got the Custom version because I've wanted a black double bound body for years. I wasn't even sure I'd like a baritone, but I've found I love it. I actually like the guitar so much, I've had crazy thoughts of buying another one. This guitar with a trem would be so killer.

If you order one sight unseen and get a fretboard that looks bad, Indian Laurel takes Fiebing's Leather Dye really well.

Mine looked pretty OK when I got it:

But it looks better now:

Tried one at GC and it was a lot of fun, especially through a Super Reverb. If you have a high powered Fender black panel style amp you will love it!

If you don’t mind thick strings, the scale, and the low tuning. Not much not to love about it. I’ve played one of those, and have a baritone Tele. It’ll never be my only electric, but it is certainly cool.

I have the cab baritone and the cab thinline, and the baritone seems a notch above in build quality, solidity.

Fun to play, sets up well, pickups sound great. Some really good deals can be had online too. Best baritone you'll find for 299 or even less.

I like them, almost bought one, but I got a fanned fret 8-string instead.
assuming you are not joking about this,
I am interested in hearing what you think about fanned frets.
I did try them and decided they are def NOT for me

so.
FedEx delivered my new cabronita - to someone else
opened a claim within 10 minutes of getting the notification

We've had this happen with 2 FedEx shipments recently. They're the worst. I wish companies would stop using them for residential deliveries since they just don't care.

I bought a Schecter Omen Elite but sending it back after waiting 4 months for it--the G and E string slots were filed too low and buzzed. It's my first 8 string, first multi-scale instrument. So I haven't spent much time with it, but over the past 5 days of playing, I'm set on keeping it.

It's weird first of all, but after awhile I was able to do everything I can normally do on 6 and 7 string guitars. I can even wrap the thumb around but not always, that was the biggest change up. The Schecter has a straight 7th fret, which works well for me. I think palm muting is more natural on the slanted bridge. More time to see, but I'm set on the benefits, seeing no real downsides. Not replacing my Tele anytime soon, but that's not the point :D

It really depends on who your driver is. We have a young girl who gives us extra good service. But sometimes we receive packages that have had rough handling along the Fedex Highway.

By the way, I'm waiting for that same Baritone to be delivered.

So FedEx finally figured out where they put my guitar and got it to me. After intonating the bridge, initial impressions are favorable. These p90s sound very nice in the baritone format. I have a dano baritone with lipsticks, and these pickups compare favorably to those.
