    The story goes that Jimi Hendrix was encouraged to try singing only after he concluded that if Dylan's singing could get played on the radio, then anyone's singing could get played on the radio.

    I admire Dylan as the total package, but I don't think I would buy a ticket to hear him alone at the mic w/out a guitar, singing Sinatra standards

    Yes that's the one. :) Weren't Triumph just a back up act because some other band canceled last minute? Anyway, you are lucky to have witnessed that show. Judas Priest, Ozzy, Scorpions, Morley Crue(not really a fan) along with Triumph and Van Halen, though I heard they were not great....Diamond Dave was totally wasted.o_O:lol::lol:
