I'm standing by my five in post #366.

That's what was magic about them. They had it all: the chops, the pipes, the moves, the leadership.

He isn't a great singer, but I also wouldn't say that he can barely sing. Probably about as skillful as your average singer in a bar band. His guitar playing on the other hand is a different story, being a bit elusive in that his strengths are in supporting the song and memorable riffs, not so much licks and flash, which he is damn good at. Here is one of Keith singing lead.

Regardless of perceived shtick, I will absolutely fall on my sword for this one:

    Justin Hawkins.

While I’m at it? Tom Keifer.

I know Ron Bumblefoot Thal has been mentioned but if you haven't heard him play or sing he is outstanding at both.

Yeah, he is one of the best guitar players that I have ever seen. He was amazing in concert. From rockabilly, to rock, to jazz, he can really do it all.

Just thought I'd give Ian Moss another shout. Skip the first 25 secs of, then wait till he hits that first big vocal note. Nice guitar solo too from 3.25.

The girl he sings with here doesn't appear to be in Mossy's league, but I've seen her band (Blue King Brown) and she was righteous with them, and she also plays some pretty wild guitar herself. I think here she knew she wasn't there to compete with Ian, so she gave her lines the laid back delivery ?
