    Seinfeld is a laugh fest for me...just on kinda late.. Two episodes of Seinfeld then King of Queens @ 11pm...Stiller was brilliant!

    From the second or third season til about the second or third from the end it was a pretty good show. It took a couple seasons to get dialed in but the last couple seasons they had all been to caricatures of themselves

    George just yelled a lot. Jerry would meet a girl and drop her for some trivial reason, Kramer just spazzed all the time and Elaine was pretty much just there

    Love it.

    Still watch it and usually find some little hidden gem that I have not spotted before in most episodes.

    It wasn't just the dialogue or the plot but the physical comedy as well that I loved and still do.

    The Opposite George episode sent a light bulb off in my head...o_O

    Yeah, change your life so you start doing the opposite of what you'd normally do.... and it worked.... :)

    I told "the world" that I will no longer go out like a social butterfly to find friends/entertainment, they will all come to me just sitting here.... and meanwhile I'll just potter about here and build guitars...

    suddenly life came to me on my terms...I don't miss my old world.... onya, George..:)

    Maybe we could say that Seinfeld was slapstick and heady. But Curb? Very heady. You have to have some wits about you to absorb and enjoy Curb. Dry is always best in comedy for me. For Seinfeld, the best was when Stiller was on. For Curb, I love Larry's managers Wife. If there is a website men go to be humiliated, she would make a lot of dough. She is so vicious and you get an eerie feeling when she is happy and jovial.

    Jerry explained basketball to me...

    mhea, they just play end for end, goal for goal for most of the game and only really start playing for the last 10 mins....

    kinda rings true...:twisted::D

    The wife and I really enjoyed Kim's Convenience - a Canadian sitcom with the classic "episodic" style where they can be watched out of order. Pretty light and silly but the two leads (a middle aged Korean/Canadian couple running a Bodega) are extremely funny natural comics. It's on Netflix.

    I was OK with that. Few absolutes, few demands, independent, attractive... she might be the ideal woman!

    Me like .... funny watching now with Jerry on that giant old antenna phone lol .... but will say that George's, later Larry David's, and many others' characters have borrowed generously from Woody Allen; the classic NYC neurotic thing.
