So I managed to get myself into a G&L Tribute Bluesboy Sunday via CL. The guy tells me that it belonged to Dickey James. Who?!? A blues man all over YouTube I guess. Well it comes with a hard shell case too so yeehaw. I love getting wierd stuff with my guitars. I bought a guitar online a while back and got a bag from Granny’s Music Mall in OK. No way I’m giving that away in a trade. So back to the hard case. OMG!!! So great! And the back of the headstock!!! Great shape otherwise. Been wanting to get into a GnL forever just to try them out. Odd the last two guitars were both Orange stain. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I spray painted my band’s name on my guitar case.
Guaranteed you don’t know me either.

Festofish... I really like the guitar, got one myself in Blonde.... But that decal.... Is it a USA one or the Indonesian model with a doctored decal?

James Dickey inspired a visceral fear of banjos amongst urban males. Mere coincidence?

I saw that on CL. Love to come across cases with a history. Nice looking guitar to boot!

Nice score there. I really like the Bluesboy. I think I had one once, or maybe it was another ASAT version, I really can't recall. But I do like G&L, though I did not end up keeping mine.

But what is the deal with the back of the headstock? You mentioned it but gave no details.
