Android tablet... as far as I can see, the web page shows just fine.
I'm not sure of the benefit of the app.
Can somebody help me there? Maybe on a phone?

It's more useful on a small screen, but I'd say it's still a bit easier to navigate on a tablet, simply because the app is better suited to a touchscreen than the browser site.

Give it a shot, it's free!

I switch between the old app and the new one, and like both.

TalkBass recently switched over to the same format as the new TDPRI. It's pretty cool. Still not a fan of yellow, though... Blue is a more calming color to my eyes.

It's only on my IPhone right now. Probably going to switch the ipad over later today. As for the app versus the website, I've only been on the website twice in my whole time being a member here haha. I find it difficult to navigate, unless it's changed in the last 6 months or so:p

Just got it and was hoping that my one major quibble with the app version had been fixed, though I don't think the site owners/admin consider it something that needs fixing. Namely, the lack of classifieds on the mobile app. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things, but I like to browse the classifieds on my phone on various sites (CL, Ebay, other forum sites, etc...) and this is the only forum I am on where the classifieds aren't part of the app.

I asked about it once a while back and was never really told why, just that there were no classifieds on the app. Oh well. To surf, perchance to dream.

Can't find the option to see newest posts on the latest app.

Worked fine on the older app.

There are classified on the app, swipe the forum to the right and see the menu on the left
You can also swipe message to the left and see lil icons on the right
I used to go back to the menu then back to BDC and it would update automatically, now I have to pull the whole thing down, apple OS style
Swiping the forum to the right will show the menu that also has the new post option

As I play with it I like it much more. Lots of features. I only use it when I'm away from the desktop anyway, but it certainly seems to have all I need.

    Thanks to all responsible!
