20190813_153519.jpg so, come back to rehearsal space and see Rockstand tandem guitar stand, stripped of the base-of-guitar-holding hooks (both of 'em)

    WTH?

    Now, what to do?
Does Rockstand even sell replacement parts?
    And what's the correct name?

    Grumbling - Deeve

Either vandalism at its worst, or someone lost those parts, probably going to or from a gig, and yours became their "replacements". I've disliked conventional stands for YEARS....because of the way they DON'T fold up efficiently for carrying around. I don't have a good solution, but I wish someone would come up with one.
BTW....I'd bet replacement parts will cost as much as an entirely new stand. :(

you may be right - using "the google" I am directed to the common retailers, but have not located one that sells individual parts yet.

I dislike those multi part tippy stands and only buy the low A frame type now with no removable parts.

As far as who does that, I'd guess one of the kids who in their younger days ran the streets in groups, punching random strangers in the back of the head. The knock out game was it?

If not in prison yet, what do they do for kicks?
Any punk rockers in your area?

I forget who did it but Iggy told a story of being passed out drunk and his friends took off his clothes, put him in a car, drove to another town, and dumped him on the roadside.
Seems like they also mopped the floor with him first.
Had to read the story, it was worse than I described and Mr Pop confirmed it.

    So guitar stand vandalizing?
Be glad you woke up in your own bed!

@telemnemonics - you're right; "slept indoors last night" is usually one of the first things on my morning gratitude list, when I remember to be grateful.

@warrent - I've cut & pasted my message to the tdpri community (sans pic - not allowed) and shared it w/ the "contact us" email @ Warwick.de, including my acknowledgement that I don't know the actual part's name.

    Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
    Peace - Deeve
