Did the quarantine make you buy something you wouldn't have bought otherwise?

Another fair point. I’m seeing this from a whole different angle. Bit like I always have a problem with charity shops. Should I buy stuff to support the needy or leave it on the shelf to help the needy?

    Yes indeed

Started with Marshall... then went to Fender Twin Reverb (modded to a Bluesbreaker thing) ... back to Marshall, changed to Fender (Bassman 59) again an then realise I shouldn't had changed, so, back again to Marshall

Is good to make up your mind... one of these days

I've tracked down a jumbo acoustic that might work for me but the seller is in holding pattern right now. Can't say I blame them; and I'm not that interested in bringing home a snot infected guitar!

I've been eating omelets for the past week, 'cause the last carton of eggs at the store was an 18-pack.

Wow coolidge, that blonde Mesa looks awesome. I drooled a little looking at it.

Last week, I ordered an MXR flanger, it should be here tomorrow.

Thanks, Mesa Boogie Hollywood had one in a custom cream Tolex with black/cream grill. The standard Tolex and Grill on those is kind of ugly imo.

We're gonna need a thorough review and some sweet sound clips of each of the amps.

Those JCM900's are 30 years old, new filter caps are inbound. They are in decent shape. One of the volume pots is wonky. Some loose power tube sockets. Those are first year 1990 model 2100 and 2500 JCM900's. Not to be confused with the dual reverbs or later SL-X. Basically JCM800's with a built in tube screamer.

I purchased them exclusively for Tele and Strat single coil use.

Nothing guitar related bought, but I did a pedal trade and got an Archer Ikon.

Also bought a tournament style chess set because mine was lost in a house fire a few years back and never got replaced.

Right about the time that this Wuhan Virus became fairly widely feared, my 70th birthday approached. I knew that I would need to act fast to order (Stratosphere) my birthday present, before a "possible" meltdown.

I didn't need any more guitars, but this Capri Orange Tele body was the siren song that pulled my wallet out.

In the last few days, I developed the body into a full-fledged Fender Tele. I figured it would be my birthday present AND my last splurge, in the coming economic meltdown. My "swan song" perhaps.

Hello, I have bought not really in quarantine time but few days before, february 17th, a Tele 8502. https://www.tdpri.com/threads/ngd-telecaster-011-8502-767-honey-blonde-2003.1007721/page-2.
I bought it from a seller living exactly in a small village in province of Bergamo, which become a few time after one of worst epicentre of CoViD-19...
When I see in television Italian Army carries victims to other crematories because there are no place in Bergamo's cemetery, I take courage and hit a Whatsapp to Ugo, the seller...

Whew...Ugo answered, him and family was ok. But he told me about a large list of relatives, friends, neighbors dead or with serious healt problems...

Now...the last time I went out from home was march, 6th. Only two times to go to supermarket (1 hour of queue) to obvious needs (wearing mask, gloves).
It is time to stay at home.
Please stay at home, it's dangerous, it's not a joke.
    All the best!

I thought I'd be quarantined at home in France where I don't have any of my guitars - so I bought a Squier CV Esquire in seafoam green to see me through.

I unboxed it, strummed literally one chord... and got a call telling me I had to return to work in Switzerland asap! back in the case it went, and on the train I went!

2 weeks later, I'm stuck in Switzerland as the borders have closed. Trying to bond more with my Origin 20, I just bought a Wampler Tumnus pedal to see if this helps and to see me through.
