    Hi.

    I just discovered this.*

If memory serves me, I’ve only seen two songs from this performance before. I may have even posted one of them here.

    * I did my due diligence search here and discovered what might be the same video in a previous thread. But, it’s listed as unavailable (to me at least), and the post is dated June 2020. The video above is listed as “Premiered Feb 18, 2021.” So, maybe it was taken down and uploaded again or something?

    Hi.

Yeah, the White Stripes are very much hit and miss for me. Some songs turn me right off, and some songs light me up. There seems to be no middle ground.

I find I’m the same with the Pixies too.

    Fantastic! Thanks for posting.

Different music obviously, but the Radiohead ITB's are great too.

Cool.....I've NOT seen a lot of White Stripes' performance videos, but I've never noticed Meg so animated and "emotive" before. Thanks for posting. ;)

The Radiohead In Rainbows might be better than the actual album! The Sonic Youth From The Basement is excellent as well.

    Hi again.

Yes, I really really like the Radiohead ones. They are excellent 'right there' live performances. In Rainbows in particular. I am pretty sure I've posted both here.

I think I posted the Sonic Youth one here too, maybe.

I think the From the Basement folk, and several artists involved all made things more generally available in response to the 'current times' situation.

Wow, drool! Man I have to say that I just love that beat down mode they get into and I love all their music. I like their folk songs even more. Big fan of both of them.

I saw this several years back and was blown away. I absolutely love this vid, and I think about it frequently. The version of "blue orchid/party of special things to do" is this vid is scorching. I love his look here, too. The tiny moustache, flat brim hat, and Union Chaplin coat are great.

I agree that they both seem super "into it" in this vid, which makes it better. I think he's my favorite guitar player to hit the scene in at least twenty years.

I really miss The White Stripes.
