Which songs make you cry

It has been 4 years since I got divorced, after a 32 year marriage. It was brutal.

The other day on a whim I bought the vinyl album U2 Achtung Baby.

Then this song came on, I hadn't heard it in years, and I started bawling like a baby.



"And I can't be holdin' on to what you got.. When all you got is hurt"

Just kills me.. so many memories and tough times.

I think this is U2's finest song ever and Bono OMG he is incredible, the emotions in the song.

Jackson Browne "The Pretender", because it always reminds me of my dad who loved that song. He passed away not long ago.

There are a few that get to me, and particularly that I find I can't sing, because i just choke up on them.

For a long time, I felt that Guilty, by Bonnie Raitt (okay, by Randy Newman, but I mean Bonnie's version, got me that way: "It takes a whole lot of medicine for me to pretend that I'm somebody else."

Bonnie Bishop has a song that gets me - Sweet on the down low.

Bruce Springsteen, the song Living Proof:
