Which of the 3 blues Kings is your favorite?

My favorite: BB, by a lot. I saw him for the first time on the Johnny Carson show in the early 80s when I was about 8 and was totally hooked. That was formative for me.

The "best": Probably Freddie. He could do all the things BB and Albert could do and then some. He's probably the best all around musician of the 3.

The baddest and funkiest of the 3 kings: Albert. By like 3 miles.

I consider all 3 as influences. I have lifted guitar licks from all 3 equally and without prejudice. However, you gotta give Albert King the nod for being hip enough to use the best blues/soul/r&b/deep grooving backing bands ever for a great recording: Booker T and the MG's.

BB, for me.
I’m so glad I got to see him, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
I got the gift, BB and his band were brilliant.
I also really love Albert.
I appreciate finesse, and both men had it.
For total presentation, BB.
For soul, Albert.
I love Freddie too, but more as a writer/composer than performer.
Too erratic, IMO.
I never saw Albert, or Freddie, except on YT videos.
I’m sure glad they all were here.

I love all three guys, but it's got to be B.B. King for me. Even before I started playing guitar, I used to love seeing him tear it up during his regular appearances on Johnny Carson's the Tonight Show. I'm really glad I got to see him live in September of 2007 in California, with Etta James and Al Green as his opening acts. What a show!

To listen to .... Albert. I love his tone as well as many of the odd, strange, original blues passages he comes up with. I've got an old disc of Albert and Stevie Ray Vaughn playing together that I've about worn out.
