Which model of Tele is this?

    Just bought a TC Spark on the basis of this excellent video. Great pedal.



    But what's the Tele he's using at the start of the video? Neck suggests American Standard, but I didn't think those had bound bodies. Some sort of Deluxe?

    Yes that's the top bound Fender Deluxe Tele.

    Hmmm, except his seems to have a different bridge and saddles...

    You're right, the inlays aren't correct for the deluxe either
    maybe Custom Shop.

    Don't forget the inlays changed from abalone dots to black pearloid dots in 2010 - in a lot of lighting those show up as normal black dots.

    I think it's a 2010 or later American Deluxe with a replacement vintage-style bridge - seems like several parts companies make those for American Standards/American Deluxes. Which of course means that the pickups could have also been changed as well.

    Just realised there's no N3 logo on the neck pickup as well. And I don't think I can see an S-1 switch either.

    I've posted a comment on the vid asking about it anyway.
