    Hi everyone,

I've just bought this guitar in a second hand shop as the sound was really good and also the price. Now I'm wondering which model it is, as it seems to have been fixed several times. I don't have any knowledge so I was wondering if you could help me out.

I thought about an American Elite Telecaster but the scratchplate has 5 screws only... Dunno if it's a Tele made with parts from here and there...

    Please find enclosed some pics...

    Thanks!

    Thanks!!

    It's a home-made parts-caster.
Not an authentic Fender, in my opinion.
Somebody did a good job of it, except for the headstock sticker.

    :(

A lot of things going on with that tele, for me to even make a guess. If it sounds great and plays great, well, there ya go, be happy.

It plays good and you got a good price so it's all good, but that does look like a knockoff.

I agree with others-this looks like a partscaster with a lots going on including: decal has clearly been stuck on and is in wrong place, body block joints visible, black binding, body color is off, mini humbucker, pick guard screws, wrong bridge style.

Doesn't mean its not good though just means its not a fender.

Thanks for your feedback! I'll enjoy it anyway until I can afford a new one! :)

    Many thanks!
