Vintage jazzmaster with a big neck. The era before they went to bound necks and block inlays. Color or cosmetic condition wouldn't matter, just as long as it worked.

These have caught my eye. I know there a cheaper end guitar and guitarfetish isn't always known for there quality but I like it. I played it for about an hour last night and really started to enjoy it. I'm playing it tonight at church and going to see how that goes. I'll be playing it thru a 1979 Champ and I usually just use a cheap delay pedal in front of it.

Italia Mondial Sonoro. Had a Mondial Classic for years, really miss it. This takes the Mondial to a whole new level.

And if this really came to pass, I'd take the time to spec out a dozen or so masterbuilt Teles and Strats. Leaning heavily on the pastels. Hey, why not.

Saw this in person and no photo does it justice, love it.

BTW, for all these years I thought GAS'ing stood for Getting A Semi. Like someone really, really, REALLY loves a bit of guitar gear :D

Haha. Tim's ex-wife is 118 miles away in Alabama. That was actually Tim talking. Haven't bought a guitar in like 12 years. Don't need any more guitars. Need the ones I've got though.

Yeah, you failed to mention that you have 1,256 guitars. Right?

I don't think I would ever need to buy another guitar. Between what I've bought and what I've built I'm pretty much covered.

BUT... if I saw a nice tobacco burst Hagstrom Viking at a good price I would have a very hard time resisting.

Less than 30 instruments total, of all sorts. I'm frugal I tell ya!

Funny to revisit this three years later!

Never did get the P-bass. Tried a bunch, couldn't get on board. Custom ordered a Carvin instead. Best bass I've ever owned.

Did get the Candy Cola Strat. Enjoyed it for awhile, but it eventually moved on.

Still want an acoustic/electric nylon string...

Still don't have a DGT. I'm kinda over it since I got my Les Paul.

Weird how things work out. Right now, I'm not gas'ing for a damn thing.

I wasn't gassing for any guitars as very happy with my Baja and Gretsch 5422tdc. Then read this thread and watched that Johnny Marr Jaguar video.

I have now just ordered a Squier VM Jaguar in Surf Green (and a white Pearloid pickguard).

Im trying to persuade myself I've just saved £1300 by buying the Squier instead of the Marrguar. Not sure my wife sees it that way.
