I've seen a similar warning sign concerning cougars being spotted in the area and suggest that men in their 20s and 30s should not venture out alone.

 

Aggressive cougars.

I’ll never understand why anyone would jump off of a perfectly good mountain with wood strapped to their feet...especially in the cold

it’s a joke I use with my snow skiing friends. In truth I’ve tried it once and I’m not wired that way. I did better in the lodge, by the fire with an adult beverage in my hand.

 

As you probably know there are wolves up there.Heard them calling when up in Kelowna.Could be mistaken I.D.

 

When I was in that democratic I would have ignored that warning. “Looking For Mrs Robinson” was an adult movie I remember from the ‘8os

some them critter have rabies. maybe rare down there but not so much up here. in the the fox population primarily. last year Utqiagvik (Barrow) was under a rabies quarantine for three weeks after an infected fox bit a local dog. there is only a hand full of cases but you don't want any part of that.

for a coyote to come after a human there gotta be something wrong

Looks to me like they're wearing x-country, not downhill skis. I'm with you on the latter, but cross-country is basically like taking a nice brisk hike in beautiful nature. It's awesome.

 

actually what the coyotes do up in this area is call out to attract dogs then they pack on them to kill the dogs I have seen wolves out here even had one in my back yard once . there are several wolf Hybrid pets up here as well it was really interesting to see harlo interact with a wolf Hybrid ***** , it was like they became one entity she would lure other dogs past harlo who was in the bushes ( being all black his breed were ambush humters, very wolf like in their origin) and he would leap out and startle the other dogs they did this for hours. fantastic to watch

 

Age spots. They used to call them “liver spots”. Usually traced to a Geritol deficiency.
