Been looking for a source of confetti, aka "clown vomit" pickguards.

I found the pickguard material pictured below on ebay and ordered one but when I got it it turns out to be a holographic material that changes color in the light. I should have known from the name of the material, i.e. "Holoflek".

Very flashy and cool effect but not the confetti scheme I'm looking for. I want one that looks like the picture that is non-holographic--just Flek, no Holo.

I have seen these around but can't locate a source.

I think this would look great on my natural ash tele.

    Any leads greatly appreciated!!

No leads on one like you're seeking. But there are clear pickguards available (I know I've seen them somewhere), so a creative person like you might be tempted to DIY. Get a clear one, coat the inside surface with some spray-on adhesive and confetti away!:D

You could buy a couple of those mylar birthday balloons and shred them into lil' colored bits for a metalflake effect. Or use colored metal foil bits- you might even get some shielding in the bargain!

And if you don't like the end result, well, pickguards are fairly cheap . . .

Thanks. The crazy holographic types must be one-offs. Or they must be pretty expensive since nobody seems to make them consistently
