I owned an AO50’s Strat for a year. It has a VERY different neck than the AO60’s. Soft V. Very chunky. It was a good guitar but ultimately I let it go because I didn’t bond with it. I like all my AO60’s guitars better.
Yea, it's why I might wait for a more modern guitar to come in that color as a ltd or so. You never know!

I’ll ask you since you have both the AO60’s Tele and the AO60’s Thinline: how do the necks compare on these two? I LOVE the AO60’s necks and I’ve often wondered if the Thinline is a similar profile/taper or if it’s slimmer being based on a late 60’s design instead.

If they aren't exactly the same, there's very little in it.

I wouldn't describe it as slim at all.

I bought a sunburst AO60s Tele back in 2018 as soon as they were available. I had to return it. There was a problem with the neck and Fender could not replace it for 3 months. So, I returned it and moved on.

When the AVII series came out, I was disappointed that a bound version was not available. Then, last week, I found a new, unsold, AO60s in sunburst at Morgan Music, Lebanon, MO.

It arrived today.

I new when I found it that I had to get it. I was not looking for it. It was happenstance.

Incredible quality!

I'm actually more into modern guitars but something about that BMM AO60 tele made it a must have for me. I'm so happy I found a new one thanks to someone in this forum. It might literally be the last one. I sure can't find any anywhere in that color.

Next year I might replace my strat ultra with a AO50 or AVII '61 strat though! I personally liked what I saw so far from the AVII line. I didn't have the chance to play the 63 tele so far but I too do wish it came double bound. Guess it makes our AO60s teles even more unique.

I would buy a LPB version if I found one still new.
There was one at andertons for sale last time I checked, about 2 weeks ago. I was seriously considering it but I really wanted one in burgundy mist instead so I left it

I'd be suprised if it was still for sale though, it was also the last one.
