For several weeks I have been looking at Reverb for a Bigsby B5. I just don't see many, and today, none. And very few 50s and 500s. What's the deal? Anyone know about this?

Yep, noticed it too. I waited to grab one, now they are all on backorder.

Huh! Glad I bought one a couple of years ago! $100 new.

Actually, just checked my reverb account. It was a B6 for $123 and it was 3 years ago.

I have a couple Chigsbys that look like B500s. $20. They work fine.

I took one off a friends guitar and plugged the holes. He is much happier.

No, any time I modify a guitar I give the owner the original parts in case he ever wants to put it back and sell it.

Yes they been going up steadily. I bought a B11 new for $76 on Black Friday 6 years ago, a B5 for $99 new, and B16 used to be $150.

I just picked up a vintage 60s B6 last night. No idea what I’m going to do with it yet.

335? Gretsch? Perhaps convert it to a bottle-opener?

I bought me a Vibramate Spoiler 6 months ago, but have yet to install it. I don't change strings very often.

I used to need at least 3 arms, then I figured out I just needed to bend the string a little near the ball end for it to stay put while I wind.

Now, the question is, am I genius for figuring that out, or an idiot for taking a year to figure it out?

I have 6.33333333333 dozen guitars. At last count.:confused:
Excluding something like an upcoming important recording session-I only change a string when it breaks

B5 on my SG Faded. Very subtle vibrato action and it creaks some... I guess it could be lubed if I took it all apart. It looks cool tho. IMG_1660.JPG
