because it's the hip new thing to do, I guess I should leave the TDPRI. it's too slow for a trendy guy like me, and also some of the advertisers are dictators. and apparently there's government interference, and everybody knows how I feel about that.

so I need some suggestions about where I should go. I've been banned from all the best forums, so some suggestions for 3d rate, lowlife sorts of forums would be helpful.

I suggest you find a programmer to donate the time and server space so you can create your own. That seems to be the popular working idea.

Subtle chalk marks on park benches, retaining walls and telephone poles are how I stay in touch with other guitar players. It has the added benefit of likely misinterpretation and ambiguity, so I can overreact or underreact at will.

But the topics are mostly of interest.

I'd go, but i'm wrapped up in the amp builds.

If you are banned from a forum, just create a new user on a different computer.

    That's what I did !

    Ok - Eddie.

i miss the Guitar World forum. I was much funnier there.

but always remember: Geezer Butler is the world's greatest punk rock guitarist.

Get adblock and adblock plus on your computer browser and only access the forum from there. Stop using your phone, that's the problem. When it's slow just take a break and come back later.

I've never had a single popup nor seen any of the intrusive ads everybody keeps talking about. There are the six gif ads at the top of the page and that's it.

This place is still fun! But then again I have zero people I know in real life to talk guitar kit with :(

It would be nice if someone in the know could create TDPRIGearPage.

If you ask Drake, you should go to his concert. According to J. Geils, maybe you should go to church. The Saints advocate going to disco. Take your pick :p

sorry, at 60 you are way too old for "3d rate, lowlife sorts of forums" or punk rock bands!

Well at 64 I guess I am old, and I have done the best I could with Punk/Rock. Leaving is an option; complaining is much more fun.

just because they do, indeed, do it - does not mean it is a thing that must or should be done. The KISS of the post-punk generation... my kid liked them, and Green Day.

Never to old to be in a punk band, because being old and into punk, is punk itself.
